This novel is great if you like short stories that get to the point. It's a good romance story. However, I would have loved for it to have been longer and with more detail. I did love the way the author captured the romance and the passion between these two character's, specifically the lust and the sexual attraction between the two. It was my favorite part.

It begins with a dark angel named Apollyon. He is claimed to be the devil and has been living in hell for a Milena. He is finally summoned to earth by who he assumes is his master. Only to find out that it was Serenity, the mortal he's been watching in the pool of hell. Serenity is a witch who seeks revenge on her cheating ex boyfriend. She asks for help on vengeance of her ex boyfriend but doesn't know she has summoned an amazingly gorgeous dark angel from hell to help her with her revenge. There is fear and confusion at first, only until they begin revenge. The flirting and kissing begin but only to make Edward, the cheating ex boyfriend jealous. Or so they thought. They make love, attempt to gain revenge on the ex boyfriend again, they succeed and now Apollyon is set free from the contract. Apollyon is forced to return to hell and Serenity does not want him leave. Apollyon tells Serenity to do the same thing she did in the beginning when she summoned him, but this time make sure she wishes for him to stay forever.

Surrounded by endless darkness, he longs to fly free on Earth once more but his master hasn’t called him in centuries. Lost in their moment together, Apollyon realises that there is a reason he heard her call—he’s in love with her.
