5th book in the series of Alien Huntress and my first but even though I had not read the previous books, I did not feel that I was missing out. The way this book is written you can fall into the history line without any problems. But don't get me wrong, I like the way this author writes and this gives me a reason to read the rest of the books in the series. I am a fan of Showalter's other series as well.
The main characters are not the typical characters, she is a strong willed, hard headed heroine that knows which buttons to press to make the very sexy, good looking and very possessive hero do her will. Due to her insecurities created by her past and his rocky past, they both had the wrong reasons to be with each other but that soon changes when they realize that they are made for each other.
Great Fantasy romance, sassy, funny and very sexy (very explicit), definitely a must read.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series of hers yet but I have read her Atlantis series and Lords of the Underworld and the Lords are my favorite by far!!! This series is pretty close to the top of my TBR list!

Trudy has read the Atlantis series and I have read Lords of the Underworld. We love both series. So we have a feeling that this will be another series from Showalter we will love.

ReplyDeleteGena Showalter is my favorite author, so it's very difficult for me choose just one of her series... But all my love for her began with Lords of the Underworld series. It's amazing how she built a whole world full of steamy romance and breathtaking action! I gasp, cry, laugh, scream, fall in love, get desperate, forget the world when I'm reading every single book, every single page. It's amazing!
