3rd book of the series, this is the one series that you would need to read the previous book to understand the thread of the story. Harper after being struck by lightning at an earlier age gains an ability to discover dead bodies. This is the reason that she is hired to come to this town to find some missing boys. She gets to the town and discovers a serial killer burial site usually she is met with disgust and fear, but in this town after her discovery, they recognize her ability and they thank her. Unexpected events happens with her and the step brother, plus other plots in the story keeps her longer in town as expected.

If you like mystery, this is a good read, the writer keeps it flowing through unexpected conclusions until it reaches a satisfactory unexpected end.

Summary: Harper Connelly heads to Doraville, North Carolina, to find a missing boy one of several teenage boys who have disappeared over the last five years. And all of them are calling for Harper. She finds them, buried in the frozen ground. Soon Harper will learn more than she cared to about the dark mysteries and long-hidden secrets of Doraville knowledge of the dead that makes her next in line to end up in an ice-cold grave.
