Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list complete with one of our bloggers’ answers. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
Top Ten Inspirational Characters
Once Upon a Twilight's list (in no particular order):
- Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins - The way her character is written I feel gives you this inner strength when you read her story.
- Wanda from The Host by Stephenie Meyer - What a strong soul! She can teach you to love one another so strongly.
- Charlotte from Charlotte's Web by E.B. White - This is the ideal friend everyone needs to have.
- Marie Osmond author of Behind the Smile - Her journey thru PPD really inspired and help me thru my own journey. (Yara)
- Santiago from The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway - You learn many thing from the Old man.
- Anne Frank from The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank - Reading this in school I remember feeling proud of her and just in awe of Anne.
So this was a very hard Top Ten post. Here is what we were able to come up with.
Katniss and Anne Frank made my list too. I think Wanda is a great choice as well. (I have such a hard time referring to her as that, even though that's what everyone calls her in the book.)
