Latest installment of the series Immortals After Dark is phenomenally fantastic. Can be read as a standalone but highly recommend to read the previous 10 books to learn and understand better the history behind this fantasy world created by Cole. This installment is about the love  story between Regin the Radiant a Valkyrie  and Aidan the Fierce a Berserker that was curse but transcended centuries. She is an Immortal and he is not and after every time they consummate their love he dies, but only to reincarnate again and again.  His fight with time is to gain his immortality to finally be with his only mate forever. But not so simple the person he reincarnates in, Declan, hates immortals and is in the hunt to eliminate them all. He will need to redeem himself, gain the love of Regin  and avoid losing himself completely to the memories of  Aidan in order  to prevent his demise again.
A most read if you like to read about immortal creatures of all kind and if you like a fast pace, packed with action and  romance story. As always the sexual scenes are explicit and steamy but backed by romance , love and sacrifice. If you are not a fan yet, this book will definitely  make you one and leave you feeling the withdrawal for more.

Summary: HE VOWED HED COME FOR HER . . .

Murdered before he could wed Regin the Radiant, warlord Aidan the Fierce seeks his beloved through eternity, reborn again and again into new identities, yet with no memory of his past lives.

SHE AWAITS HIS RETURN . . .

When Regin encounters Declan Chase, a brutal Celtic soldier, she recognizes her proud warlord reincarnated. But Declan takes her captive, intending retribution against all immortals—unaware that he belongs to their world.

TO SATE A DESIRE MORE POWERFUL THAN DEATH . . .

Yet every reincarnation comes with a price, for Aidan is doomed to die when he remembers his past. To save herself from Declan’s torments, will Regin rekindle memories of the passion they once shared—even if it means once again losing the only man she could ever love?

  1. I still have yet to read this series but since a lot of Borders are closing and having good sales I've been trying to get the first few books. Great review I can't wait to get into this series now. :)
