What a great short story. It went straight to the point and at the same time was descriptive. Especially in the erotica scenes. As I began reading, my woman’s intuition started ringing and telling me that this guy is no good for Amanda. When I read what he did to her on their engagement night, I felt all the emotions that Amanda was suffering, hurt, anger and revenge. I completely agreed with everything she did and if I was in her shoes I would have done the same. I loved the way that although this is a short story, the author did a great job with the flow of the story, not leaving you guessing or confused. I did not feel as though the story was rushed, although I would have loved for it to have ended with a bit of William and Amanda’s story together. Immediately, I fell in love with William and his gentlemen manners, I liked the fact that the author gave a little description of where William was from and how he became what he became. Gwen is Amanda’s best friend and I loved her for her honesty and no BS attitude, She made me laugh. Overall this is a great short story and I highly recommend it.
Summary: (from Author) Amanda had always been forgiving, until the night of her engagement. It was at that moment, when she found her new fiancé banging the waitress in the bathroom, that she changed. Never again. Men were not going to use her ever again.
So when she found William’s portrait and learned that his whole purpose for existing was to let her use him, an electrifying relationship resulted. This genie offered her three nights of pleasure. And Amanda quickly realized she wanted more.
I agree. I fell hard fir William and his gentlemen qualities. *sigh*
