It's Friday so that means Friday Five that was started by Author Cheryl Renee Herbsman. Our friends at Eve's Fan Garden and Page Turners also partake in this meme.
Each Friday we will post a question or topic, then respond with our five choices.
If you were a writer and were writing your first novel, What five places would you like to use for your book to take place?
Yara's Answers:
- Bora Bora - Ive just always thought of this place as magical and so secluded. Im sure it would be great for a book.
- Greece - The perfect place for a story with Greek mythology to take place and of course those beautiful blue waters.
- Miami, FL - I dont think I've read any book written around the Miami area. it would be nice to use it and feature the Art Deco district.
- Wonderland - This sounds like a great place to use for other stories. So colorful and Happy!
- Great Barrier Reef, Australia - I have always dreamed of going there and diving in the reef. Be nice to write a story with a merman maybe living there.
Jenny's Answers:
- Cuba - Because it would be nice to include a personal place that has family history.
- Amsterdam - It would be interesting to come up with a story line in the "red light district"
- Vientiane - With a story line to include Buddhism
- Madrid - What with all that history there's bound to be a good story in there somewhere.
- Antananarivo - There is a lot of animals here to choose from.
ohhh, I love this question! Yara - Wonderland is a great pick! I would live there. :) The Merman of the Great Barrier Reef. :) Greece = WIN!
ReplyDeleteJenny - Amsterdamn would provide much scandal. Madrid would kick butt as a setting, as would Toledo. :)
