The 2^nd Installment of the Network Series, is not stand alone, you will need to read the 1^st book. Khalida has been hiding for six month, trying to protect her people, but  is found by  Mack.  He brings her out of hiding appealing to her emotions and caring for her lost son. The only problem is that she will need to help the enemies  that created the problem. One of this people, she finds out is her son’s widow.  She is being haunted, just like her by what seems to be her son’s ghost. A truce is called and they join forces to get rid of this monster, which is her past coming back to try to kill them. In order to make it go away for once and for all, she needs sacrifice herself and  go back to her roots, in the City of the Dead. The story is fast paced, enjoyable and hard to put down. The author makes you believe that you know what’s going to happen every chapter, only to surprise you with a new twist. Love the ending, leaves you hoping for last  installment to come out quick.
