Talk about action packed. If you are a action junkie or love war movies, then this movie is for you 100%. I luckily do enjoy action but I'm also obsessed with end of the world movies. Something about total planet annihilation works for me.  I'm glad they decided not to go with 3D on this film, it would have may you sick. The way they used the cameras and the movements would not have worked with 3D. The aliens were realistic looking, they looked very mechanical. The story is simple, the aliens start to invade earth and immediately start attacking all major cities worldwide, Los Angeles is one of the few still holding their ground but are quickly loosing. There is a group pf Marines (Hoo-Rah) that are sent to try and find civilians in the bomb drop zone, before the bombs drop. Of course this is in the center of where the aliens are attacking. The Marines end of loosing a few of their men. They do find some civilians and set off to to save them and themselves by heading to the FOB area. Well its not a easy task I tell ya. I was ready to shout at the screen , "Give them a break" a few times. So head on out to the theaters and check out this action pack movie. It's kid safe, I took my 4 and 9 year old to see it and they enjoyed it as well. Here simply put its one bad ass Marine's movie.

Plot: A Marine Staff Sergeant who has just had his retirement approved goes back into the line of duty in order to assist a 2nd Lieutenant and his platoon as they fight to reclaim the city of Los Angeles from alien invaders.
