Summary: (from goodreads) At Penford High School, Britney Taylor is the queen bee. She dates whomever she likes, rules over her inner circle of friends like Genghis Khan, and can ruin anyone's life with a snap of perfectly manicured fingers. Just ask the unfortunate few who have crossed her. For April Bowers, Britney is also the answer to her prayers. April is so unpopular, kids don't even know she exists. But one lunch spent at Britney's table, and April is basking in the glow of popularity. But Britney's friendship comes with a high price tag. How much is April willing to pay?
I've heard of this book comparing to a movie called Mean Girls, well Im so glad I have never seen mean girls. That way I didn't have a need to compare to the movie. This book takes you back to high school, which i do enjoy when books do that. Amy writes so realistic at times, you feel like you are the one walking the hallways. Its a fast and enjoyable read. You kinda get hooked in while reading, because you want to know what next will these characters do. The ending was not what I was expecting, but it wasn't bad either. As far as YA goes this is on the younger side of the spectrum. I'm an adult and I did enjoy it, but anyone still in High School will probably enjoy it the best.
You meet Britney who is the popular girl in school. She basically rules the school. Gts what she want and does what she want and don't cross her at any point. Then you meet April, who is that one girl no one at school notices. She is as unpopular as she can get. Well one day that changes for her. Of course good things always come to a end and April breaks one of Britney's Lipstick Laws and she will pay for it. This of course makes April eventually fight back. April is a very funny character and you connect with her easily. So will April get her payback? Read the book to find out.

I have been looking forward to reading this! I am sure I will pull a memory or two of a girl I went to high school with! I like those books that take you back to high school and then you can compare a character with someone IRL that is usually TOO much like the fictional one! Great post and great giveaway!
