Top Ten places or activities you did as a teen?
1. Hanging out with friends. I was attached at the hip with my friends as a teen.
2. Talking on the phone when I wasn’t hanging with friends – my parents eventually got me my own phone line.
3. Writing! I’ve always loved to write…and angst-ridden poetry was my writing forte as a teen.
4. Concerts – especially Dave Matthews Band! I went to see DMB a ton as a teen.
5. Dancing, dancing, dancing… mostly with my friends on weekends.
6. Boy ogling - a very important sport! I was a tad bit boy-crazy.
8. Work – I worked at a bakery, candle shop and movie theater during high school (not all at the same time).
7. The mall! I was a serious mall-addict.
9. Mark’s Pizzeria – only the BEST pizza in the universe… I frequented Mark’s for lunch during my senior year when we were allowed to leave the school for lunch.
10. Art & psychology classes – two of my favorite high school classes. I wanted to be an art therapist at the time.

Summary: (from goodreads) At Penford High School, Britney Taylor is the queen bee. She dates whomever she likes, rules over her inner circle of friends like Genghis Khan, and can ruin anyone's life with a snap of perfectly manicured fingers. Just ask the unfortunate few who have crossed her. For April Bowers, Britney is also the answer to her prayers. April is so unpopular, kids don't even know she exists. But one lunch spent at Britney's table, and April is basking in the glow of popularity. But Britney's friendship comes with a high price tag. How much is April willing to pay?
