It's Friday so that means Friday Five that was inspired by Author Cheryl Renee Herbsman. Our friends at Eve's Fan Garden and Page Turners also partake in this meme.
Each Friday we will post a question or topic, then respond with our five choices.
5 Favorite Book Quotes from any book read?
Yara's Answers (in no particular order):
1. "Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars — points of light and reason… And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything." - Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
2. "The relationship of a girl and her favorite novel can be complex indeed." - Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
3. "You are my heart, my life, my entire existence." - The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
4. "I was dead until you found me, though I breathed. I was sightless, though I could see. And then you came...and I was awakened." - Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward

Q: Do you have anyone that you can discuss book in real life? Tell us about him/her.
Yara's Answer: Yes I do and for different genres. I have my mom that lives with me and we talk about the books we are reviewing at that time. Then I have my friend Ginny that is the perfect friend to chat with about the very hot and steamy adult books. We try and meet up at least once a week at bookstore to have our steamy chats. Then there is the Houston TwilightMoms group, when we meet we talk about all sorts of books too, usually YA.
Great answer! I only have one friend who reads, which is why I love my blog! I'm already a follower. My FF is at Coffee Table Reviews
ReplyDeleteI have a book group that I met through the Twilight Lexicon. We talk about all types of fun books and even go to signings together. I love that Twilight inspired so many online fandoms and that it brought so many people together.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I really wish I had a good group of adult friends who loved YA. You're lucky to have the Houston Twi Moms.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you might be interested in my review of the Twilight Guide. I posted it on Twilight Moms, but you can get it at my blog too (sorry for the shameless self-promotion. It took me 2 hours to write the review, so I am justifying all that time by trying to get everyone to look at it).
