Summary: (from goodreads) New witch Tammy Jo Trask has a whole town full of trouble, in the latest from the national bestselling author of Barely Bewitched.

First, there are the local residents who form a scripture-spouting posse and kidnap Tammy to "defend" Duvall, Texas, against witchcraft. Next, someone saddles her with a secret package chock full of dangerous visions, just as the president of WAM-the World Association of Magic- arrives with his entourage to investigate her. And who worse to examine Tammy's entanglement with off-limits and drop-dead gorgeous wizard Bryn Lyons than his ex-girlfriend? Not to mention that the clash between the locals and the magical visitors leads to a series of unnatural disasters that may doom them all.

While the fate of the town hangs in the balance, one thing's certain: this would-be witch is ready to rumble, Texas style.

Halfway Hexed is the third novel in the Southern Witch series that is the best one of the three. Kimberly gives us so much that we have been wanting to read in this 3rd installment. Now we get many answers but Oh boy does Kimberly leave it open at the end for a possible book 4. The magic, humor and mystery is so captivating and so well written. Whats my favorite part, of course the way Kimberly writes the main character humorous side. You are actually laughing out loud plenty of times. This series is for any fan of Vampires, Witches and Fey. It the kind of series that is refreshingly entertaining to read.

The story begin where it stops in book two with Tammy Jo. Tammy struggles with her magic because she has a mix of bloods from her parents, so she a walking time bomb you can say. So the Bad Boy Bryn is her crutch since they share a bond that helps her with her magic. You won't get any of the love triangle in this book, its all about Tammy Jo and Bryn. The big answer is revealed in this book as to why Tammy Jo has the trouble she has with her magic, as I mentioned its to do with her parents, so you will have to read why. Plenty of action for poor old Tammy Jo, kidnappings and shoot-outs are a normal day for her lately. Pick up this series, you wont be disappointed. You can read the rest of my previous reviews on the blog as well. If you are a fan of Sookie Stackhouse then Southern Witch series will fit right in with your reading.
