Great Debut Novel by Amy Fellner Dominy to help others that struggle with being who you are. This novel has quite a few issues that every teenage at one point or another deal with in real life. The main subject in the book is religion, but it doesn't over power the story or make you feel like the book is preaching to you. You will see that when you read this book it feels alive, true or real.

Ellie gets accepted to the Christian Society Speech and Preforming Arts Summer camp (CSSPA). She needs to be able to attend this camp and win herself a scholarship, so she can attend the best school and she can't afford it otherwise. So she starts off great meeting new friends until she meets Devon. Well Devon is her competition and also the cutest looking boy there. Ellie has to then decide if she will lie to obtain this scholarship about being half Jewish or will she admit to who she truly is. Devon's mom is in charge of who will get the scholarship and she does not like Jews. You will have to read the book to know what Ellie decides and if Devon will become more than her competition while at camp.

Amy's did a great job writing all these hard issues that many of us face in the real world. She deserves 2 pats on the back. The characters are very likable and believable, The humor is very funny, you actually laughed out loud at times. I recommend this book to YA and Adult readers alike. Its a great book to understand some of life's hardest decisions and situations.
