God Bless America!

Yesterday we all lived thru History in the making once again. The great thing about yesterday's news is that it was a positive and not a negative. We needed this news as a country and for our troops. 

As my family and myself left the movie theaters yesterday I was bombarded on my phone with text, Facebook and twitter that Osama Bin Laden had been killed by the US. We couldn't believe it. We rushed home as fast as we could to see the news. When we got home we had just missed the President's speech but then watched it on MSNBC.com online. I began to tell my oldest son what was going on and what had happen. It sadden me to explain death to him but he understood why Osama had to die. He knows and understand what happen on 9/11. I have also taken him to Ground Zero in NY to see and know that where he stood many had passed because of the doings on a evil man.

I was so full of pride last night and still today. We all have once again come together, seeing the people at the White House yesterday was very emotional. I am just so happy this has happen so our troops know that they have not been fighting in vain. Our President's Speech last night was AMAZING!.
