Monday Recap!

Hi from NY, another day has come to its end. Today was what I called the Pre-BEA Fest. I began my day with attending a special Harper Children's Breakfast. I had such a great time talking one on one with the publishers while eating a yummy breakfast. I left Harper with a great bag full of ARC goodies. Then I continued my day heading to have a preview luncheon at Simon & Schuster. Again another great group of publishers. We were treated with a presentation from Elizabeth Miles and Ellen Hopkins.  The lunch provided was delicious. They also provide the cutest floral bag with ARC's and they also did raffles and many won a prize including myself. Then last but not least I headed to Teen Author Carnival. It was a full house. We had panels to choose from and so many great authors were present. The organizers also gave out a tote with goodies. I was able to get a ARC and get it signed while there.

So needless to say, Im exhausted. It was a long day that required walking and riding the subways, but well worth it. I came back with 2 full bags of ARCs. Cant wait to share everything with you all when I get back home and do In My Mailbox. 

Tomorrow begins the 1st official day of BEA, so i can imagine what a crazy day it will be. I have my schedule ready to go. I will also be attending the BEA breakfast tomorrow and Wednesday. So stay tuned tomorrow night for my Tuesday update.
