Joplin, Missouri Classrooms need our help!

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you all the chance to help out classrooms in Joplin, Missouri.

"On May 22, 2011, the town of Joplin, Missouri was hit by an EF5 tornado. The entire school was ruined. Fifty percent of our students lost their homes. The kids need something to look forward to and to make their lives feel normal again."

- Mrs. Tarter
Irving Elementary School
Joplin, MO

If your not familiar with the site DonorsChoose.org, its a real great way of helping out classrooms in need. You simply go to thier site and choose the classroom which you want to help or you can help several ones at the same time. Just imagine if this was your classroom or your childrens classroom. Even if its just a dollar you can help with Im sure it will help.

Over 260 classrooms in Joplin, Missouri were destroyed by the tornado on May 22nd. Joplin teachers are tirelessly working to revitalize their classrooms with items they lost: books, rugs, calculators, flash drives, listening centers, and more.

As students return to school today, August 17th, Joplin teachers would like their classrooms to feel as familiar, warm and welcoming as possible.

Will you donate to a Joplin classroom on their first day of school?

Thank you for your support.
