Top Ten Tuesday: 8/23/11 Books you loved but didn't write review

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list complete with one of our bloggers’ answers. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Top Ten Books You Loved But Never Wrote A Review For (either books you loved and couldn't bring yourself to write a review for or books that you read long before blogging...time to give them a shout out!)

Yara's Answer:
  1. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer - Can you believe that this blog does not have my review for Twilight even though Twilight is in the name and I love the series. Its just I read them long before I blogged and honestly when I review a book, I have to write review right after I'm done reading it.
  2. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer - same reason as above
  3. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer - you see a pattern right?
  4. Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer - yup all 4 books have no reviews on the blog. Maybe one day soon, I can re-vamp the whole series for the 15th time and then write proper reviews.
  5. The Host by Stephenie Meyer - another Meyer book I have no review for. I read all her books way before the blog started last year.
  6. 80% of Nora Roberts books - I read so many of her titles that I loved or liked long before I even knew what a blog was, so only recent titles have been reviewed. On Goodreads I have star rating but nothing else.
  7. Black Dagger Brotherhood Books 1-6 by J.R. Ward - Once again I began reading this series way before blogging and only the latest releases have reviews on the blog now. I truly love this series, its my favorite adult series.
  8. All Dan Brown Novels - Basically the same reason for everything I list today will be I read then before the blog but I did Love them when I read them.
  9. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank - I read this back when I was in school and probably one more time after that. This book was just so touching and memorable to read about Anne's struggles during the holocaust. Again I read many years ago.
  10. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - I read the book before the blog was started but then Catching Fire and Mockingjay do have reviews on the blog. This is a excellent series.
Tammy's List:
  1. any of the Harry Potter series
  2. any of the Twilight Saga
  3. any of the Percy Jackson series
  4. any of the Hunger Games series
Jenny's List:
  1. The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J. R. Ward. I wasn't blogging then, and haven't had a chance to review each one of them. But i highly recommend the series though!
  2. The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, I read the entire series and again I wasn't blogging at the time, therefore I didn't write reviews for them but I also highly recommend this series. It's paranormal with a twist of magic and romance that will entrap you from page 1.
  3. Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger - One of the first books I read, after Twilight and The Black Dagger Brotherhood and loved it. I didn't want it to end. A special shout out to Lisa Unger.
  4. The Marriage Game by Fern Michaels - Amazing book. Absolutely loved it. Highly Recommend it.
These are just some of the books that I picked up at Walmart and would read before I started blogging.

  3. I don't think I could review the Twilight series or the HP series. There is something about those books that make you want to hold them close.
