Summary: (from goodreads) A love so strong, even eternity can’t separate them.
Evie Starling has lived a relatively uneventful life hanging out with friends, gossiping about boys, and driving her 1966 Mustang. All of that changes when she moves to Gunnison, Colorado, to start college and meets two mysterious men.

For centuries, Alex Night and Emil Stone have yearned for Evie—but they each have their own reasons for wanting to be with her. When both men claim to be her soul mate and tell her about an unbelievable past, Evie learns that she’s not the person she thought she was. Soon, Evie finds herself in the middle of an age-old battle between the Amaranthine Society—the soul protectors, and the Daevos Resistance—the soul destroyers. With a past she doesn’t understand, and a future rife with danger, Evie has to decide who she can trust. But Alex and Emil aren’t the only ones who want Evie, and her soul is about to become the rope in an eternal tug-of-war.

Let's begin with this cover. How beautiful is it, I was so curious to know what it meant. Then finally the story explains the cover so clearly. Pendrell Publishing tends to have great book covers. The great part is that their authors might be the ones that design them themselves. Very talent not just with their stories but artwork as well. What I like the most about this cover is how well it matches the story. Sometimes you read a book what wonder what the cover has to do with it, but not Eternal Starling.

Where to begin, Eternal Starling has it all. Angela did a wonderful job capturing her characters. The story line she created might sound like it will be repetitive, but on the contrary its not. I really like that this book made me laugh out loud at times. Then add the real cool mustang the main character drives, you got a hit. The great thing about Evie (the main character) is how strong she is, I'm always glad to read about a girl that doesn't come off weak or dependent. Eternal Starling will capture you as soon as you begin the hike with Evie in the woods and bump into Alex Night. With a last name like Night, I can't picture anything less than a Sexy looking guy. This take of Eternal love will leave you wanting more.

Eternal Starling follow Evie Starling. She is a strong minded college student. She lives off campus with her roommate. She is your adventure girl, she likes to hike, ride a four-wheeler and even Dune buggy in the sand. She drives the coolest 1966 Mustang, that all the guys drool over. One thing she doesn't do well our boyfriends. She has hopes for for a great time in Colorado since she's about to start college. That all changes the day she runs into Alex Night while she is lost hiking. It's great or should I say a coincidence they bump into one another while she was lost. Well Alex helps her find her way and they go out on dates. Things begin to get very intense between the two. Evie also begins to feel that her lily shape mark on her back warms up when she is near Alex. She has no idea why it happen but it does and the color is beginning to change. Just when she feels things are going great, Alex tells her he has to leave her so she is safe. She is crushed, what did she do wrong.

School finally begins and Evie is getting over her broken heart from the simmer, when 1st day of class, she finds herself in the lunch area and this guy just captures her and she can look away. What if I tell you this guy comes straight up to Evie and kisses her like if he has known her for centuries. She is memorized by this kiss and well the school is too. What is a girl to do. Well it doesn't get easier since Alex appears out of the blue and warns Evie to stay away from Emil Stone, the guy who kissed her. One thing lead to another and Evie is told that they are both her soul mate and they belong to these separate societies, one good one bad. Who can Evie trust, Alex the protector or Emil the changed Daevos.

Ha! that's all your getting from me, you must read this book. I'm excited to read the rest of the trilogy. Like I said earlier, Pendrell publishing has some of the best authors, stories and much more. Angela, does a great job with her debut novel. The future is bright for her.
