Recently I had the opportunity to meet Cassandra Clare at one of her book signings. She presented an extremely informative question and answer session, offering much insight from where story inspiration originated from, to who her favorite characters of the series are. It was her question and answer session that won my mother over, as now she is ready to start reading the series. So glad that I have them all, so now she can jump right in and see what great writing she has been missing.

Cassandra Clare is an international well known author who has brought entertainment to millions of people. Her Shadowhunter World is so exotic and unique that it captivates readers, leaving them breathless. Time and time again she writes novels that proves she is a tier one author. Her latest book The Clockwork Prince lives up to all of its hype. With her usual style, Clare writes another great novel filled with mystery, action and plenty of emotion. The same characters in the first book are back and ready for more perilous adventures.

Tessa is back and still felling the effect of her brother’s betrayal. With her love for Will crushed and her feelings for Jem blooming, nothing can get more difficult for Tessa. Wrong. Tessa and the enclave are given the seemingly impossible task of finding the Magistrate. In the novel many things are revealed to us. Will’s past among other things are discovered. This book is a magnificent sequel. It does well taking of from the first book and also leaves the reader wanting the next. Once you have read The Clockwork Prince, you will quickly put it on your reread list, as it is surely a book you will want to read again.
