Summary: (from goodreads) The Ultimate Sacrifice.

Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy.

Where to begin with writing this review for Bloodrose. I finished Bloodrose a few weeks ago now and honestly still might not be ready to write my review for it. Bloodrose is one of those books that affected me in such a way that I couldn't think of anything else and it just stayed with me even after finishing it. Now when I say it affected me, its not saying it affected me in a good or bad way, it affected me in such a intense emotinally way. Another book this year that affected me and still does just like Bloodrose is Tabitha Suzuma's Forbidden. They are books written so powerfully and with such emotion that it transfers over to us the reader. I think I can say I know how Andrea felt as she wrote Bloodrose, because every emotion I felt while reading Bloodrose can only be felt because the author felt it as she wrote it. Nightshade series is still my #1 wolf mythology series ever and I'm just so grateful that Andrea wrote such a amazing series and shared it with all of us and that it impacted my life just like The Twilight Saga did. With all this being said, Bloodrose is and probably will be one of the hardest reviews I've had to write.

When I started reading Bloodrose I had no clue what to expect, I stayed away from any spoilers or even the goodreads page. I did not want to know anything that happen until it was my turn to read it. Little did I know my life would be so greatly impacted. Andrea wrote with her heart and I am now beginning to fully comprehend where she went with Bloodrose, do I agree or wish differently, Yes and No. If you had asked me 5 mins after reading Bloodrose, I probably would have said I wanted to strangle Andrea and if you ask me now, I will say I will give her the biggest hug and cry with her for a while as we talk about the book. Bloodrose had to end, there was no ifs and buts about it, Andrea did not hold back and she never has before. Andrea is the author that will write from her heart and not for what will sell or market. This is why I now accept Bloodrose completely.

As far as me talking about the story in Bloodrose, there is so much I can't and won't say. I will not ever spoil a book for anyone. I want everyone to come to terms with it like I did. You must read it for yourself and open you mind and heart and understand what happens in Bloodrose at all times. This will make the reading experience amazing instead of uncomfortable. Calla, Ren and Shay will once again fight for your hearts when you read Bloodrose.  Calla, Shay and Ren must prepare to fight the biggest and toughest battle they will ever face in their lives, will the Guardians and the Searchers be able to work as one and defeat the Keepers? It will  ask for each and everyone to accept certain things they were taught to go fight against and now accept and move forward. Honestly there is not much more I can disclose without telling you of important life changing events in Bloodrose

I hope that my review came through and got my feelings and thoughts across to you all. I am excited that everyone will finally be able to read the last installment in the Nightshade series. Nightshade series just like Iron Fey series will forever be a series that I will always know and talk about for years to come. Both Julie Kagawa and Andrea Cremer have ended the series with so much invested in their books. I THANK YOU ANDREA for writing Bloodrose and of course Nightshade and Wolfsbane. Your series was one of the most beautiful detailed and your mythology was just Phenomenal! I'm so looking forward to what Andrea will bring with her new series and even though its a sad day that The Nightshade wolves wont be running in the mountains again,  I will forever have them running in my heart! THANK YOU!!!!
