Friday The 13th Edition: What are 5 Superstitions You Believe In Or Fear?

Jenny's List: 

• Don't celebrate a birthday or blow out candles before the day of your actual birthday 
• If repeating a story and someone was injured, don't signal the location where the person was injured
• Don't tell anyone your pregnant until your third trimester
• Don't build the crib, until your child is born
• Always hang a cross in your car for good luck.

Yara's List: 

• To open an umbrella in the house is said to bring bad luck.
• If you blow out all of the candles on your birthday cake with the first breath you will get whatever you wished for.
• Eating fish makes you smart.
• To find a penny heads up, brings good luck.
• Placing your purse on the floor is bad luck for your money.

Trudy's List:

• Mal de Ojo (Evil Eye) -
• A bad deed will come back ten folds
• If you give a wallet as a present, always put money in it
• 12 grapes at the end of the year for each month to start on the right foot
• Throw a bucket of water out of your home at 12 on new year

• Don't step on a crack in the sidewalk, you'll break your mother's back
• Don't walk underneath a ladder, you'll have bad luck
• If you break a mirror, you'll have 7 years of bad luck
• If a black cat crosses your path, you'll have bad luck

• Karma!!! What goes around comes around. 
• If a black cat walks towards you, it brings good fortune, but if it walks away, it takes the good luck with it.
• its bad luck to put your purse on the floor. You lose money if you do. (Even though I ALWAYS don't, I still manage to lose money..LOL) 
• If a bird poops on you, its considered good luck! (Even though I would be upset if it happened to me.)
• Pictures or statutes of an elephant bring good luck, but only if they face a door.

Monica's List: 

• If you see a white owl at night, its a bad omen for something bad to happen.
• Bad things usually happen in 3's.
• If you spill salt throw it over your left shoulder for goodluck!
• When you say something bad, you knock on wood(or someones head lol) to keep the evil away. 
• Friday the 13th's are bad luck! That's today ahhh!
