Charlotte's Web and Of Mice and Men are definitely sad. The Notebook made my list. I loved Divergent. HP series broke my heart because it ended. I wanted it to keep going.

DeleteI have to say that I was totally surprised when I felt sad at the end of the Iron Knight- you mention some of the Iron Fey series. I just liked Puck so much! and I was surprised that Ash also grew on me--BOTH ended up making me feel a bit sad, which I didn't expect. good choices-- thanks for your comments, too at YA Fiction and Whiskey Sours- Mockingjay is a killer
