Top Ten Bookish Confessions
Yara's Confessions:
- One of the places I read is in the shower not the bath. The shower is running on full blast and I sit but place the curtain behind the book and my arms so the book does not get wet. I'm not a fan of baths. - Yara
- Since I don't like dog ears in books, I will use just about anything that won't damage a book as a bookmark. It can be a leaf, receipt, toilet paper, hair, you name it Ive probably used it. Your probably wondering why don't you use bookmarks, I do but for some reason they seems to disappear when I am not home and I have to use whatever means necessary. - Yara
- Since the fire I haven't really bought new physical books since I don't have storage space for them now. So ebooks have been my route lately. that will change once my new house is complete with my new built-in bookshelves. - Yara
- I suck at grammar. So when you see a review from me, know that it took me longer than normal probably since I have to spellcheck it like a thousand time and correct formatting or words. This is why I can never even think about becoming a writer, it would take me 10 years to write a first draft. - Yara
- I finally can say that I have at least read the first Harry Potter book and the first Vampire Academy book. As far as the rest of the books in each series and if I will continue to read them, The Vampire Academy series I will in between deadline books but the Harry Potter books I don't think I will. Its just once I see a movie and not read the book I can't go back to the books. - Yara
- I use to read Twilight fan fiction all the time before becoming a book blogger. I would read them from my phone at ALL TIMES. It was my guilty pleasure. - Yara
- Audio books are so hard for me to finish. Not because they are bad, its just I don't find the time to listen to them. I only have a chance to listen when I drive to book signings since they are far or long road trips other than that, I don't really have any other time to listen.- Yara
- I don't leave comments on blogs like I use to when I first started blogging. I just don't have the time to visit 100+ blogs a day. If I can leave 10 comments in a day, its a lot. Its not that I don't want to, its just I don't have the time. - Yara
- I've been a book blogger for over 2 years and still don't have a clue about HTML or all that coding that blog post take. I have to hound friends or my blog designer ALL the time for help. It just doesn't stick inside my head when I do something. - Yara
- I take being a book blogger to seriously lately and I am afraid that one day I will just wake up and say to hell with all of it. I need to learn to enjoy it more, like I used to in the beginning. - Yara

- If the narrator of a book has an annoying voice, no matter how good the book is, I just can't listen to it. - Lisa

- I really hated audiobooks when I was younger. I thought they were for old people. - Lisa
- I once told my parents I lost a library book so they would pay the fine and I could keep it. - Lisa
- Anything! You dog ear, you hated a book but said you loved it, you have $500 library fines...anything goes! - Deitre

I can't watch a movie & then go read the book either!
