Book Blast: The Earthsea Series by Ursula K. Le Guin + Giveaway
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Simon & Schuster, have cooperated to plan and produce these editions of the books of Earthsea. It’s wonderful to have them all, for the first time, in the right order with the unifying cover design showing that they belong together. Earthsea kept getting called a “trilogy” even after there were four books, and five, and six. Now, with these beautiful editions, it’s clear at last that from the first to the sixth book—from the village of Ten Alders and, by way of many years and islands, many adventures and wizardries, back home to the house on the Overfell—Earthsea truly is one story. I don't know what the other books' original covers looked like, but I really like these as a set. I have book 1 (a gift from my library) and I really like the cover on the version I have, but it wouldn't have fit with the new covers for the other books in the series.
