Summary: (from goodreads) A world-defying love is put to the ultimate test in the heart-stopping sequel to Veronica Rossi's "masterpiece," Under the Never Sky. (Examiner.com)

It's been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?

In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and dystopian elements to create a captivating love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.

Through the Ever Night delivers for a sequel. Veronica will not need to worry about that second book syndrome. I can't say it surpassed Under the Never Sky, but they are neck in neck in goodness. In Under the Never Sky, we meet this world for the first time and try to understand it, we get familiar with the characters and travel through out the book. Now in Through the Ever Night, we know the people, the places and the on going dilemmas, so the sequel to me is about solving said issues and discovering solutions while the characters we love grow. Of course there are new twists and turns and even some characters that either you will love or want to stick an arrow through their eye.

Perry and Aria, these poor kids. Love sometimes is very hard to deal with. Perry and Aria are put through some tests, that only if their love is pure and real will survive them. In Through the Ever Night Aria, won me over this time. Perry fell short a little for me, I felt he needed to get some cojones especially since he is the Blood Lord now. SO much happens between these two and around them, you blink you might miss something. I love how Aria has grown with her character and doesn't think twice about making radical decisions.

Through the Ever Night starts off when Perry and Aria reunite after what ended in Under the Never Sky. They both have new directions and responsibilities to take or make. Perry is now Blood Lord and Aria is an Aud that feels guilty over what happen to Perry's nephew. The main mission in this sequel is locate the Still Blue with whatever means necessary. So relationships are put to the test and lies are throw at one another. Perry never imagine that being Blood Lord would be as difficult and Aria never expect to learn to deceit someone. Now throw in to all this, the Aether storms. These storms are the worse that they have ever been. No one is safe anymore with the skies angry as they are. Not the Tides or The Dwellers. Who will step and lie to one another to find the Still Blue, it might be everyone. Survival of the fittest!

So much to enjoy in this book. Fans of the series will not be disappointed. Those not familiar with these books or author, become familiar soon. You are missing out on a powerful vivid story. I can't wait  to read the 3rd book now.
