Blog Tour: A November to Remember - The Vincent Boys + Break Up Giveaway Kit

Welcome to our stop on blog tour that deals with broken hearts. "A November to Remember" spotlights Abbi Glines' The Vincent Boys with boys that either broke or stole your heart. So I choose "Damon" from The Vampire Diaries (book & TV series).

About the "A November to Remember" Blog Tour: The Vincent Boys is a seductive story of attraction and betrayal. This November, the Vincent boys are helping us remember the guys who have both stolen and broken our hearts hosted by Big Honcho Media

Your probably asking yourself, why did Yara choose Damon? Well I'll tell you, because to me Damon represents both sides: Good & Evil. Damon has broken and stolen my heart ( & Elena's) from the beginning. One minute you love him the other minute you want to run him over with your car.

Damon is the epitome of Bad, yet we still fall hard for him. We know Elena should be with Stefan, but half the time we want her to end up with the bad boy. Of course Damon has shown he has a good side, and that's when he sinks his teeth in you. Elena is one lucky gal, having both brothers pinning for her. If one was so lucky. She might not see it that way, but she is. Even though the brothers are always fighting for Elena over wrong or right, it has done wonders with their relationship.

So that is why I choose Damon, he reminds me of Beau from The Vincent Boys. Not so much the same kind of story, but the whole bad boy rep and the stealing the cousin's girl, that's where I see it.

About The Vincent Boys: Get seduced by a sizzling account of attraction and betrayal in this previously self-published phenomenon.
Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.
Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.
Ashton and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way too hard to resist....

The sequel to The Vincent Boys, The Vincent Brothers will be released December 18, 2012.

  4. My first boyfriend broke my heart into itty bitty pieces when he broke up with me via note delivered by random acquaintance in study hall. At the time I would have been horribly offended by the suggestion that I'd eventually find the whole thing hilarious! Much chocolate was consumed as well as lots of angsty music.

  7. That would require having dated someone, so no broken heart for me yet. I'm sure chocolate would play a major role in the recovery though : )

  8. 80/90s power ballads soothed many an unrequited crush.

  9. The boy who stole my heart was my best friend. Unfortunately, he remained oblivious and my crush remained unrequited. I eased the pain w/ many, many "White Rabbit" Lattes...Yum :0)

  10. The boy who stole my heart is no longer in my life, but I think that's for the best. I eased the pain with coffee dates with friends. :)

  11. The "boy" who first broke my heart was more of a man child and luckily I was in a position to move out and move on. I cried, ate some chocolate and ranted at friends :) Ironically he tried to crawl back a few years later and I laughed and said "NO!". So it ended on a high note for me!

  12. My b/f broke my heart when I found out he was seeing other girls while I was studying abroad my Senior year of High school. I drowned my sorrow in making playlists for few weeks they went from remorse and heart breaking songs to more rhythm and beat as it got easier to deal with the break-up. Then I remembered that I was experience what would be one of the greatest times in my life (living in Spain for 6months) and moved on with some cute Spanish boys!! :)

  18. I remember as a teenager when some boy "broke my heart" I would generally lock myself in my room and listen to some to the saddest love songs I could think of, over and over!

  20. oops...sorry...major typo in the first post.
Once, in high school, a guy broke up with me via note delivered personally to me right after a date with strict instructions not to read until I got home. He'd seemed 'off' the whole night. I was too anxious to wait to read it since I thought the note was going to explain what had been wrong. It did. I really should've listened and not read it until I got home. He'd hooked up with my 'best' friend and dumped me for her. Not sure how I made it home safely while bawling my eyes out and cursing them both.
At the time, I listened to a lot of Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, and Marilyn Manson. And I wrote A LOT of hate in my journal. A few weeks later, a co-worker friend tried cheering me up with a movie and I forgot all about the other guy. Turned out he was no big loss. The other guy was great and funny and treated me well while we dated. And a year later, the first guy broke up with my ex-best friend, announced he was gay, and hooked up with his best friend. Not sure, but I think they're still together.

  22. Boy who broke my heart....... He was someone I worked with when I was about 20. He sucked, but it was only cuz he was young and selfish and I can't hold it against him. But, there wasn't much I was able to do because I worked with him for the next 5 or 6 years. I cried, got drunk, and MOVED ON. But, I pined for a LONG time too, so I didn't really move on for years.

  24. The boy who broke my heart is a guy I've known for over 10 years. He says one thing but does another so I'm trying to get over him now. I'm more of a mix tapes kind of girl. Love music.

  25. Afyer eating my way through my divorce with dark chocolate I leanred that even thought chocolate works it also adds many, many pounds. It's a good thing that a lot of music is great for dancing and working off those pounds. Thanks for the great giveaway.
