Summary: (from goodreads) Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother's best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can't stop bickering.
Forced together for her brother's wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they're forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of "accidents" as the family tries to prove their "spark" can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don't strangle each other first…
The main Character Madison Daniels worshipped her brothers best friend Chase Gamble. They practically grew up together. When she was a child she use to chase her brother around whenever he was with Chase. She always hoped that one day they would end up together. But she didn't know if he saw her as a little sister or more then just a friend. Madison knew that Chase was this big player that always had different girlfriends all the time. That's what you get for him being a bar owner. Madison and Chase had one night together that has changed their life. Madison was at Chase bar one night and there was drinking involved. Well there was kissing and groping but he ended up stopping it so nothing went further. He called her the next day to tell her it only happened because he was drunk but she knew better. When she gets the invitation to her brothers wedding she sees her name as the Maid of Honor and the best man is Chase Gamble. She gets all nervous and doesn't want the weekend to come. Because ever since that night all they have did was bicker. They even lived in the same city and went to the same college so she couldn't get over Chase. They end up at the venue for the wedding and that's when things start to happen to these characters. When they get to the vineyard to check into their hotel they find out their rooms were taken because they didn't check in on time and that they have to share a room for the weekend. This is when Madison and Chase start to feel the heat between them. There is one night when they start kissing and making out and then he stops it because he can't do it. So she thinks he isn't interested in her. Then there is another time that things start again when they are locked in a wine cellar and they get interrupted and they end up starting where they left off at the hotel. Well he ends up opening his mouth and saying something to her that just ticks her off. He said they should just get it over with so they can move on with their lives and go their separate ways. When they are getting ready for dinner for the wedding Chase talks to his brother Chad and tells him what he said to her and he couldn't believe he said that. Then Madison brother Mitch knows that something is happening between his sister and his best friend and tells him to not hurt her. Chad and Mitch told him that he never wants to see Madison be with any other guy because he gets all mad when he sees her with another guy or if another guy is talking to her. After all of this he finally realizes that he is in love with Madison, his best friend sister.
