Summary: (from goodreads) Two months after dying, seventeen-year-old witch Graylee Perez wakes up in her twin sister Charlene’s body.

Until Gray finds a way back inside her own body, she’s stuck being Charlene every twenty-hour hours. Her sister has left precise instructions on how Gray should dress and behave. Looking like a prep isn’t half as bad as hanging out with Charlene’s snotty friends and gropey boyfriend.

The “normals” of McKinley High might be quick to write her behavior off as post-traumatic stress, but warlock Raj McKenna is the only person who suspects Gray has returned from the dead.

Now Gray has to solve the mystery of her death and resurrection and disentangle herself from Charlene’s body before she disappears for good.

***Entangled is a young adult paranormal fantasy romance suitable for ages 15 and up.***

I was really excited to get Entangled when I saw that it was a self published work. The story is based on a set of twin witches that are in high school and in my opinion are polar opposites. Charlene is melodramatic, self centered, snotty and just downright mean-girl-psycho. Graylee is down to earth, sweet and caring and likes to dress a bit goth.

I thought this was a good story but really think there was room for it to be so much more. The story seemed to drag out on some parts and then was so rushed on others. I really got into the plot but would have loved to see more character development.

We know that Graylee and Charlene are twins and that they are completely different because of the way that they dress but we don't know much more because Graylee dies so suddenly and then the rest of the book is about her trying to find a way to not have to share her twin sister's body and only consciously live every other day.

Graylee is single when this all starts out and can't stand Raj, but then he is almost instantly in love with her. That was little weird. I would like to have seen the relationship build a bit more, instead of him going from not liking her so much to being in love with her. It was like a love hate relationship that only had 2 seconds of hate to it. I am not saying that's bad, I just wanted to see more.

Watching how Charlene behaves towards her twin sister was just overwhelming. It's no wonder Graylee wants desperately to not have to share Charlene's body. There are few twists and turns along the way but Gray finds that she has a few people she can depend on to help her along the way.

Overall I liked the plot, it was definitely interesting. I found it a little hard to deal with the things that Charlene puts Graylee through and found that some parts was more than predictable, but I am happy with the way things turned out. Since this is book 1 of the Spellbound series, I am looking forward to getting to know these characters better and seeing where Nikki takes them.

I would recommend this book to young teens. It was an easy read that will keep you interested.
