Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Beach Reads (however YOU define a beach read!)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list complete with one of our bloggers’ answers. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Top Ten Beach Reads (however YOU define a beach read!)
  • Divergent by Veronica Roth - This book can be read anytime of day or night!
  • Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally - Its the right kind of story to read at the beach
  • The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han - I would say to read the whole series while at the beach or on vacation.
  • Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - You might be in Paris while reading but having your feet in the sand while reading is even better.
  • In Honor by Jessi Kirby - LOVED LOVED LOVED this story and it ends at the beach!
  • The Vincent Boys & The Vincent Brothers by Abbi Glines - Perfect books to make you blush at the beach.
  • Moonglass by Jessi Kirby - While reading you'll end up wanting to find your own Moonglass.
  • On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves - Stranded on an island, do I need to explain anymore?
  • Everblue by Brenda Pandos - Sexy Merman and lots of Water
  • Tangled Tides by Karen Amanda Hooper - Another mermaid tale that dives into a beautiful world.

  6. I almost put The Vincent Boys on my list! It's definitely a good romance book to read at the beach. The Summer I Turned Pretty books are popular this week! I want to read it, but dislike the name Belly and don't know if I can get over that! Anyway Moonglass looks perfect for the beach and In Honor has a roadtrip and a beach in it!!! I need to read that :)

Thanks for stopping by My TTT ...your blog is really pretty!

  7. I read The Vincent Boys, but not The Vincent Brothers. I could totally get drunk off Abbi Glines at the beach, since I want to read the entire Sea Breeze series too!

  9. Hmm, this is a great list. I feel like I'd get really sunburned if I decided to read Divergent on the beach, though :D On The Island, Catching Jordan, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Anna and the French Kiss are all definitely spot-on.
