Sometimes to understand the present you have to conjure up the past...

The last thing Addison Harmon needed was to become tethered to the broody, often seemingly cold, Theo Van Rooyen, but that's exactly what happened.

Forced to partner up with Theo to figure out a way to break the tether, Addison soon realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew.

Wow!! It's been a little while since I have read and reviewed a paranormal story. I'm glad that I jumped back in with this one.

This story continues where Catalyst dropped off. Addison has just discovered that she was born with "magick". She actually discovers that the boy that she has fallen for, Kace and his friends, are elements. They were all born with the same type of magick. The town is succumbed by magick, yet no one knows. The pastries and coffee taste better, the town is more beautiful .. all due to magick.

Addison senses that she's not wanted in Soul Harbor. In fact, her best friend was pushed away due to that same feeling. She's not giving up though. Addison Avery is tough and will find out why so many strange events have been occurring.

Addison was attacked one evening and saved by someone she never thought possible. She just can't understand why he saved her -- he despised her. What's even more strange is the fact that because he saved her, they are now bonded by a tether. The two of them try several different spells to break this, to no avail. Addison learns that there is only one way to break this tether without dire consequence. However, she's not sure that she is ready.

Addison always knew that she was adopted. She knew of her mother, but not of her father. Soon she will discover who her father was and what type of impact he plays on her life. She discovers so many things about her parents life and how it affects hers. Addison can't help the desire and lust she feels for Kace, but is it enough? Will this stranger who saved her, pull her from Kace? What does her future hold?

A+ Jennifer. It truly is an awesome read. I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters. Definitely a lip biter story!!! I can't wait to read the final story in the Tethered Series "Confined." Review to come soon.

  1. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I recently read Catalyst, it was simplistic but enjoyable and left me wanting to know what happens next so glad that Conjured was a great sequel!
