“Find Me.”
These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found . . . dead.
Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target.
Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?
Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.
But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.
Because it just got personal.
Wick has some pretty solid hacking skills that she uses to catch unfaithful men. No one knows about it, so why would her ex-best friend's, Tessa, diary show up with the words "FIND ME" written in it? Especially since Tessa has already been found. Dead. Wick pays almost no attention to it until she finds out that the next target is her little sister, Lily. Then she has to find him. The guy who destroyed Tessa's life and is now after Lily. In comes Griff, who wants nothing but to help her. Wick isn't one to ask for help. Especially since it might put people she cares about in danger. But with this monster on the loose, hitting too close to home, she has no option but to let Griff help her. She NEEDS to catch him.
Okay, I'm not gonna lie, it did take me about 100 pages to start feeling interested in this book. It does start off kind of slow, but I promise you after those 100 pages, give or take (take), you will not put the book down! Trust me, one minute it was 10:00 pm and the next it was 3:00 am. I couldn't put the book down. Also, the steamy scenes (yay!) make up for it. I. LOVE. GRIFF. I also want Griff! But, anyway this is about Wicket. Can I just say how much I love her name. Wicket aka Wick aka Wicked, as Griff calls her. I love his nickname for her. So cool! *Focus* I'm de-railing again. HA.
Mystery comes at you from all ways in this book. Up until the very end. Which is what keeps you going until you finish. I TOTALLY connected with Wick. She has a sister, I have a sister, we both feel the strong need to do everything in our power to protect our loved ones. As does everyone. It's what makes her so relate-able. Find Me is an awesome read. It's got everything you need in a book. Have I mentioned the steamy scenes are fantastic? Thank you Romily Bernard! Haha. But seriously, pick up a copy and devour it as I did.
Find Me was a lot, and I loved the sisterly relationship, too. Wick's such a strong character, and it's always nice to read about a female protagonist who takes care of things on her own.
