A young college woman gets schooled in life, sex, and love in New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan’s sizzling New Adult romance series—where three Ivy League suite-mates testing their boundaries as they seek higher knowledge of just how far they can go.
A born flirt and good-time party girl, Emerson has never had a problem finding a willing guy. She’s always chosen her hook-ups carefully, and she's never broken her three cardinal rules:
Never let them see the real you.
Never fall in love.
Always leave them begging for more.
Then comes Shaw. A hotty from the wrong side of the tracks, he’s immune to her flirtatious banter and come-hither smile. After rescuing her from a disastrous night at a biker bar, he doesn’t even try to take her to bed—he calls her a tease and sends her home instead. Unable to resist a challenge, or forget the sexy dark-eyed bad-boy biker, she vows to bring him to his knees.
But instead of making Shaw beg, she finds herself craving him. For the first time in her life, she’s throwing out her rulebook. Suddenly, she’s the one panting for a guy she can’t control. A guy who won’t settle for anything less than the real Emerson, who forces her to do things she’s never imagined, including facing a past she thought she'd buried.
A guy who just might leave her wanting more . . .
Sophie Jordan does it again. Another book that I just could not put down and read in one sitting pretty much. Jordan can write just about anything and turn it into book gold. Not surprised at all that I loved this book, just like I have all her others in the past. Jordan is another author you list as auto buy.
Tease is the sequel to the hot new adult debut Foreplay in The Ivy Chronicles series. You want to read the books in order just because you want to know who the people are mentioned in this sequel. The story though is not about Pepper and Reece who you meet in Foreplay, but Emerson and Z.O.M.G. hottie Shaw. Emerson is friends with Pepper and attend the same college and turns out Shaw went to school with Reece. Small world I tell you.
In Tease you'll get to know that Emerson is not looking for any boyfriends, she puts up this front like she is easy but in reality she is smart and studious. She just doesn't want to be out casted for being boring by either party. You'll start to figure out why Emerson acts the way she does, as you get deeper inside the book and start to learn about her past. During this process she meet bad-boy Shaw at a biker bar that she almost can't escape if it isn't for him rescuing her. She is shaken up by Shaw's presence and doesn't know how or what to make of it. So she pushes and pushes him away but Shaw is no fool and can tell he gets under her skin. Will Emerson be able to resist what she feels towards Shaw, will her past dedicate her future with or without Shaw. Shaw isn't going down without a fight so be prepared to be swooned off your feet in Tease.
Pick. This. Series. Up! You won't be disappointed when you do. Definitely intended for mature audience because of the sexual content. Get ready to be Teased by Jordan.
