After spending one life-changing day in Paris with laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter, sheltered American good girl Allyson “Lulu” Healey discovered her new lover had disappeared without a trace. Just One Day followed Allyson’s quest to reunite with Willem; Just One Year chronicled the pair’s year apart from Willem’s perspective. Now, back together at last, this delectable e-novella reveals the couple’s final chapter.
You know when have to do something and you forget about another important thing? Well this happened to me with Just One Night. Since I attended BEA the week the novella came out, I honestly completely had other things in mind. When I return, one night, moments before closing my eyes, my mind completely remember and I had to forget about sleep and read. OMG, it was worth it!
Just One Night is sweet, sexy and had me smiling so late at night. *sigh* It was a fairy tale. I finally got to read what happened next after Williem and Allyson reunite. It was an emotional moment for me. We get to see how their hard work paid off. Their love conquered fate. Maybe it wasn’t time for them to be together then, but NOW they have a lifetime to be together. Seriously, I was emotionally touched with their reunion.
As a fan of Gayle, I was thrilled to see her at BEA.I tried hard not to fangirl so much, but fail. Unfortunately, since I didn’t read Just One Night before seeing her, I couldn’t thank her. She made justice for these two and I am so glad she did. I would have thanked her in person. So, thank you Gayle. Thank you for making Willem and Allyson have their happily ever after and sharing it with your devoted fans.
Oh yay! I can't wait to read this. Nice review!
