Book Tour: Since Last Summer | Joanna Philbin | Summer is Here Giveaway!!!

Ready for some summer fun?

For the publication of Joanna Philbin's novel SINCE LAST SUMMER (6/3/14; Little Brown), a follow-up to Rules of Summer, there is a fun giveaway just for you! Answer the following question in the comment section and enter to win some bookish summer goodies. One participant will be chosen to be entered in the mega drawing being sponsored by Deb Shapiro and Company.

What are you looking forward to this summer—what books are you hoping to read, movies you hope to see, places you hope to visit? I'll start it off. Believe it or not I have not read Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I will be reading this really soon, before I head to the movie theater to see it on the big screen. I can never watch a book to movie, without reading the book first. So what about you? {Deitre}

Rory McShane should be excited to spend the summer in East Hampton with Connor Rule, her generous, smart, cute boyfriend. After all, Rory's no longer the hired help at the Rule family mansion on the beach, and she and Connor have made it through a year of long-distance dating. But now, in the months leading up to college, Rory can't help but wonder if she really belongs in Connor's world.  Isabel Rule is still trying to get over Mike, the devastatingly sexy surfer who broke her heart last summer. Enter Evan, an aspiring filmmaker who's kind, funny, and crushing on Isabel. He'd be the perfect summer fling -- so why can't she seem to forget about Mike?  Set against a backdrop buzzing with the rich, the famous, and the wannabe rich and famous, Since Last Summer, a companion novel to Rules of Summer, is the perfect beach read.
Be on the look out for Deitre's reviews of both books soon!

  3. I really want to take a trip to the beach but it's been raining sooo much already that I have a feeling we are going to get a repeat of last summer when it rained every day for 2 months in my area. So that leaves lots of reading! If only I could read in my hammock instead of inside!
    I'll be attempting to finish up the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series this month and then I'll try to get around to some contemporary reads afterwards. I hope everyone is having a great summer! :)
