#1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with a new heart-wrenching love story.
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.
Ugly Love is what it describes and more. Tate and Miles story will break and mend your heart over and over again. Another book you'll be left thinking about days after you read it. When reviewing a contemporary romance you can't really go to deep into details because then you give the story away before you read it. Many of you are familiar wit Hoover's writing and don't need that hard of a push to go out and grab this book the day it releases. Trust me when I say you won't be let down. You'll once again thank Hoover for writing such a powerful romance.
If your a crier have tissues on hand and make sure to not have any thing that needs to get done once you begin reading because you will not put it down until your done. Recommend to any one that has been or is in love and is a sap at heart.
We LOVE Colleen here at Once Upon a Twilight, that Shannon & Leydy had to be part of this tour!
AT FIRST SIGHT:
• When I first saw this cover I was all “Ohhh Bubbles,” you know like the fish from Finding Nemo? But I loved it and the darkness within the blue; you knew you had to really prepare for this one.
• The cover is just freaking amazing but what caught my eyes is the title! Ugly Love = Ugly Love. I AM SOOO IN!
STORYLINE:
• Tate Collins moves into an apartment with her brother Corbin, where she has a run in with a very highly intoxicated guy sleeping on her new apartment’s door. Turns out the drunken guy laying there is Miles Archer. Miles who has had years of hurt and ugly in his heart has been taken aback by Tate, but love gets messy, love gets ugly. And when you’ve experienced the ugly is the beauty really worth it?
• If you know Colleen, then you know this is a love story. A love story that you have to suffer to get to the happy ending. Ugly Love is about Tate and Miles. Two silly fools fighting the war of an ugly love. How can these two end up happy?
HERO/HEROINE:
• Tate was definitely the heroine here. She was able to get some screws loose in that tight lid of love Miles had on. She cracked his exterior and really had him at war with himself. He didn’t to finish the fight, but Tate definitely started the fire.
• I would have to say both take a big role. Tate is the girl that was able to crack Mile open. But one must be willing to fight their inner battle to win the war. And this is what Miles did. He fought against his own demons to finally be happy.
FAVORITE SUPPORTING CHARACTER:
• Cal! I loved Cal so much and his awesome wisdom. And his constant support for Tate and his love for food. “When life gives you lemons, make sure you know whose eyes you need to squeeze them in.”
• I have to say Cal! He was crazy but wise.
SOMETHING WE LOVED:
• I loved going back the six years with Miles. Your past makes you who you are today and we never get a true understanding of our characters hurt because it’s already happened. I loved that Colleen took us back and we got to understand Miles a lot better.
• I have to say I loved Miles' story when he was crazy in love. He was the perfect boyfriend. He was whipped and I loved every minute of it!
SOMETHING WE HATED:
• Tate had said it herself; she had gone too far and was selling herself short. I hated her selling herself short, she was a smart, beautiful woman who deserved to be loved like a princess.
• *sigh* I have to say, the story was a bit too predictable. None the less, Colleen had me turning the pages.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT:
• Of Course! Always, always read Colleen Hoover, no matter what. That is an order and one you’ll thank me later for.
• I seriously have turn everyone I know, including Yara, into a Colleen fan. I am obsessed with this woman! OBSESSED!! SO YES!! YOU MUST READ!

I've never read a NA book before, but this sounds interesting. :) I've heard a bit about this author lately. As for the predictability, eh, what do you expect from a romance? Not to say it's only a romance, just saying. :)
