He will give her everything she's ever wanted . . . Jack Powell's confidence is matched only by his intensity. The darkness in him comes from years of secrets and memories he'd rather forget. Lana has an exotic innocence that draws him in and Jack wants a taste of her. She's a light in the darkness of his world - and she needs help, which he agrees to.

The only rule? He makes the rules.

Lana gives up her control, letting Jack take her body however he needs, while she works her way into his heart. But Jack's past catches up to them and Lana finds herself wrapped up in a scheme that will expose every secret she's worked so hard to keep. She clung to Jack once when her world was crashing down, but this time, she loves him. She'll continue to reach for him - her only fear is if he'll reach back, or go on his way, taking her soul with him . . .

Addictive and unforgettable, Jack and Lana's story will seduce, surprise and stay with you. A brand new romance by the #1 sestselling author of Break Me Slowly, this is an emotional roller coaster you'll want to keep riding forever.

This novel is recommended for those 18+ due to sexual content and/or mature subject matter.

I’m a sucker for broken characters. They make the plot much more interesting and intense, and that’s what happened here in Yours Tonight. Both Jack and Lana have skeletons in their closets, and sometimes the skeletons poke out. Despite that their issues are years old they've imprinted on the characters and left a dark mark. Both having been through things nobody should ever experience in a lifetime, they bury their demons and try to find the good they could have together.

Jack and Lana meet at a bar when Lana’s clearly distressed and Jack offers his company. From there, the sexual tension between the pair grows, and Lana gets to experience sex as she hasn't before—kinkier and with spice. But outside of the bedroom is where the cracks show. Both characters are unwilling to share the pasts which clearly interfere with their current lives and it puts a barrier between the couple. But Lana isn't giving up that easily and she’s determined to get Jack to open up to her. Even if it means risking pushing him too fair and him walking out of her life.

I liked this one. I'm very partial to this type of adult fiction. The kind with broken characters, not-so-right families and light BDSM and Yours Tonight offered all of those things. Jack was an intense character, whereas Lana is weak. The aftermaths of their past affected them in different ways, causing Jack to close up and harden, and Lana's wall to close up. The anxiety and fear which plagues her is the product of her past.

I have much more anticipation for book two. I feel like the plot's going to kick in there. With Jack and Lana's relationship, we'll find out if they can stick it out through the thick and thin and make it work, and we definitely haven't seen the last of her father, stepmother and Brock. I have no doubt that the troublesome trio will be stirring up some storms in Yours Completely.

The only reason I couldn't rate this novel higher is because such a high standard has been set in the adult fiction/erotic genre that unless the novel completely blows my socks off, leaves me in a book hangover and left me spoilt for other books, like some book have, I find it hard to rate it. I really enjoyed this book but it didn't knock my socks off.
