Abram and Juliette know each other. They’ve lived down the street from each other their whole lives. But they don’t really know each other—at least, not until Juliette’s mom and Abram’s dad have a torrid affair that culminates in a deadly car crash. Sharing the same subdivision is uncomfortable, to say the least. They don’t speak.

Fast-forward to the neighborhood pharmacy, a few months later. Abram decides to say hello. Then he decides to invite her to Taco Bell. To her surprise as well as his, she agrees. And the real love story begins.

Two teenagers, affected by the same fate, destined to be together. Abram and Juliette have been secretly liking each other from a far, yet they think that the other isn't interested. Especially when their respective parents make their life's more intertwined than they would like. Will they be able to get past their parents' past? Or will they let it ruin their prospective future.

This book was really cute. I enjoyed it and was happy to be reading it. Abram and Juliette were both characters that were relatable. I know that I, myself, have been in the 'I like him' relationship phase that they both were in before they finally made a relationship. Sadly most of my encounters didn't quite work out as well as theirs did.

I was a little put off by the relaxed writing style. I was surprised when the characters were explaining emotions going on in their head and they would say like, it's rare for me to find a book that uses like in the way that every other American does. "Like, the other day I was like" etc. It wasn't as annoying as when it actually happens in real life, but to a degree it wasn't what I wanted to be reading, and when my Kindle read to me he would annoyingly pause after every 'Like,' which was exactly why I wasn't a fan of this type of writing style.

If you like cute young adult romances, I say give it a shot!
