Nell Presley believes that no good can come from love. Her grandparents screwed it up, her parents screwed it up, so why would it be any different for her? She would rather keep it casual and protect herself.

Damon Masters was happy with casual through university but his feelings for Nell develop and he now wants more.

With the aid of Nell’s best friend, Chloe, Damon sets out to smash down the wall Nell’s built around her heart and show her that not all love is doomed to end in disaster. But is Nell be strong enough to let someone in or will Damon end up getting his heart crushed?

“My legs felt weak. I let go of his hair and gripped his shoulders. “Fuck I love seeing that post-orgasm flush to your cheeks. You’re without a shadow of a doubt the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” he said, looking up at me in wonder.
I gulped. His words seemed a little too heartfelt and I liked it so much it scared me.
“You’re not too bad yourself,” I replied, trying to play it down.
He lifted his eyebrows twice. “I know, Nell.” Sitting up on his knees, he smirked and added, “Where do you want me?”
“Oh, my choice, is it?”
“Thought I’d treat ya.”
Rolling my eyes, I said, “I’m honoured.”
He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me against his chest. “You should be. Now, how am I fucking you, Nell?”
His bluntness was nothing new to me but it still made me blush a little. Placing one hand on my hip and the other on my jaw, I pretended to think about it. In all honestly I kind of needed a minute. His earlier beautiful comment left me with a weird, annoying fucking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Plus after coming like a train I was feeling a little sensitive.
Damon’s head tilted to the side. “You’ve got five seconds and then I’m bending you over the desk.”
I grinned. “Well now I don’t know if I should choose or just let you do that.”
“Nell…”
His tone was a warning and a threat and such a turn on. This was fun. “Sit down on the bed.”
He wasted no time in doing what I’d told him. “You’re having me?”
“Yep.”
Taking a deep breath, his eyes travelled the length of my naked body and he held his arms out. “Well, alright then. Do your worst.”
“Are you challenging me to fuck your brains out?”
“Absolutely.”
His erection stood proud against his stomach, showing me how ready he was to play who can do who harder.
I got off the bed, pulled the hairband off my wrist and tied my hair up. Then, very slowly, I stepped towards him. “Game on, Masters.”

“Well that was one hell of a sendoff. You’d better go. Don’t want to be late. I hear your boss is a real bastard.”

He kisses my forehead and walks out the door. Damn, that man knows how to make an exit...
