In case you missed the memo, we are huge fans of the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. We even, somewhat, kind of
“Daemon: I checked out your blog.
Katy: Stalking me again, I see. Do I need to get a restraining order?
Daemon: In your dreams, Kitten. Oh wait, I'm already starring in those, aren't I?" - Obsidian
If she was mine, I’d cherish every inch of her. And I wanted to. Now. - Obsidian
"Nah, she likes my ass too much for that.” - Obsidian
“You’re such an ass. Has…anyone ever told you that?”
He flashed a genuinely amused smile. “Oh, Kitten, every single day of my blessed life.” - Obsidian
“I could always give you a teaser. You bookish people love teasers, don't you?” - Onyx
“I always liked you. From the moment you first flipped me off.” - Onyx
“Cookie?" he offered, holding a cookie full of chocolate chips.
Upset tummy or not, there was no way I could refuse that. "Sure."
His lips tipped up one side and he leaned toward me, his mouth inches from mine. "Come and get it."
Come and get...? Daemon placed half the cookie between those full, totally kissable lips.
Oh, holy alien babies everywhere...” - Onyx
“If there is anything, there is us.
You and me. No one else.” - Onyx
“I love you, Katy. Always have. Always will.” - Opal
“A slow, wry smile teased Daemon’s lips. "Simmer down, Kitten, before I have to get you a ball of yarn to play with." - Opal
“I have the feeling we just made a deal with the devil, and he's going to come back and want our first-born child or something."
Daemon waggled his brows. "You want kids? Because you know, practice makes--""Shut up." I shook my head and started walking.” - Opal
“There’s really no translation for it,” he said, “but the closest human words would be, you are beautiful to me.” - Opal
“Did you think you could stop me? I'll burn the world down to save her.” - Origin
“I want to marry you because I'm in love with you, Kat. I will always be in love with you. That's not going to change today or two weeks from now. I will be just as in love with you in twenty years as I am today.” - Origin
“So I was thinking, there're eighty-six thousand, four hundred seconds in a day, right? There're one thousand, four hundred and forty minutes in a day...There're one hundred and sixty-eight hours in a week. Around eighty-seven hundred and then some hours in a year, and you know what?...I want to spend every second, every minute, every hour with you...I want a year's worth of seconds and minutes with you. I want a decade's worth of hours, so many that I can't add them up.” - Origin
"Me and Katy look adorkable in extraterrestrial
highway shirts. You would just look stupid. You can thank me later.” - Origin
“Kat.” He uttered my name like it was some kind of prayer, and then he pressed a kiss against the skin behind my ear. “I broke every rule of my kind to heal you and keep you with me. I … burned down an entire city to keep you safe. I’ve killed for you. Did you think I’d forget what you mean to me? That anything in this world— in any world— would be stronger than my love for you?” - Opposition
“It’s not like I’m going to run up and hug him.”
His expression turned bland. “I’d sure hope not. I might get jealous.”
“You’d get jealous if she hugged a tree,” Archer tossed out.
“Maybe.” Daemon coasted to a stop in a parking space behind the car. “I’m needy like that.” - Opposition
“I’m having inappropriately timed thoughts right about now,” I told her.” - Opposition
Oh yes! I can't wait for Oblivion! Thank you for sharing!
