Sad to see this series end but it definitely brought the action to YA
ReplyDeleteI love this series! I love Katniss' determination and fierceness when she faces trouble. In a way I love the way this character showed young girls that even though people feel fear, they need to overcome it if they are to achieve their goals.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the books, but I know already that this last movie is going to shatter my heart. #IAmNotReady
ReplyDeleteLove the books and the movies! Thanks for the giveaway :-)
ReplyDeleteI read the books before my daughters and then had them read. The movies helped tie in the books and let us enjoy them together.
ReplyDeleteI love the books and they really impacted my reading (a lot more) than the movies, but I love the movie adaptations :)
ReplyDeleteI have just reread the last book, again, to refresh my memory. Love this series and love the movies!
ReplyDeleteWe are really excited for this movie! We love all of the books and movies!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite series of all time. To say that I am excited about this movie is quite an understatement. =P Thanks so much for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI think that they've done a really great job with the movies so far and I'm excited to see how they wrap everything up!
ReplyDeleteI already have my ticket! I am SO excited to see this movie!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I haven't read the books. *hides*
I wanted to, I bought them and everything but I've been spoiled by ppl and the movies, I feel like right now is not the time to read them. Maybe in the future. Thanks for the giveaway!
sooooooooooooooooo excited :) thanks for the awesome prizepack! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite series, I always remember going crazy for it when I first heard of it. Can't believe it's over.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for Mockingjay, but I'm also very sad to see this series end! I will miss it very much and I sure hope the last movie is amazing! <3
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for the movie! But it's also sad to see this series go. I sure hope it's amazing though! <3
ReplyDeleteHoly Crap I still can't believe that this series is ending it has meant so much to me I read it about a year or so after it came out and I read it with my mom and my older sister so it's always kinda been our thing so when the movies started coming out I feel in love with them almost immediately!! I can't even explain how much I love this trilogy and it just is insane that it's coming out an end but if course, it will live on in my heart forever!
ReplyDeleteTHIS SERIES. I think I may have an actual obsession. Like, my heart hurts just thinking of the end. I can't even look at the premiere red carpets anymore because I want to cry. The Hunger Games literally changed my life. It got me back into reading, it's what got me involved in blogging. I never would have met so many amazing people or had so many adventures. I just finished my 10th time reading THG, and have started my 10th reading of CF, so... yeah. Hahha I am too excited! I have tickets for the double feature AND for opening night, and well, I am half giddy with excitement and half so, so sad. It's tough! Thanks for the amazing chance!!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to see this it has taught me to be brave and strong like Katnis
ReplyDeleteI am super excited!! It's how I'm celebrating my birthday!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite book series of all time and I can't wait to see how the movie series ends. Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteBEYOND excited, but also dreading it all ending.
ReplyDeleteI cannot possibly explain how much this series changed my life. It got me into reading, inspired me to begin writing, brought me to some dear friends (fellow fans)....
I most excited for the character arcs and looking forward to getting closure where it was lacking in the books.
ReplyDeleteI just can't imagine ssending off my favorite franchise. But, "as the sun persists in rising, so I make myself.."
ReplyDeleteI hope t gets the farewell it deserves.
I am extremely excited for Mockingjay Part 2, but at the same time I don't want to watch it at all. Just the idea of this series reaching an end makes me really sad and emotional. However, I think everything good must have its end, after all...
ReplyDeleteOn how this series has impacted my life, well, I really have to summarize a lot because otherwise I'll write for too long. The Hunger Games has shown me that the love for power builds an oppressive society. It showed me that you have to be brave and strong, and fight for what you think you deserve. It showed me how in our current world, violence is reaching a status of entertainment. It showed me how much you need to love and take care of your family.
But, especially, it showed me how war has no selectiveness, how it doesn't spare anyone, how it involves everyone and everything, and how it can take from you the people you least expect to leave.

I loved the books and they came along at a time when I hadn't been reading as much so they helped me get back to reading again. Looking forward to the last movie. I think they've been great adaptations. :) Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteIm super excited!! I've read the books and I can't wait for this movie. Sad that it's going to end though.
ReplyDeleteI am super excited for the finale! This incredible series has taught me to stand up for what I believe in and has also given me something to love (and obsess over).
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see it. Yeah, i know it's going to be sad, but I want to see how the epilogue will be. The series has given me another set of books and characters I'll always love.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this book series. I love the movies but the books are one of my favorite book series of all time. When I got The Hunger Games in 2011. I saved it to read at the beginning of the next year 2012, because I always like to save a book I'm excited to read for Jan. 1st. I was excited to read it but I had no idea how much I would love it. It was one of those books that when I'm finished with it I just re-read it. I just had never read anything like that before. I think I re-read The Hunger Games two or three times before I read Catching Fire. Then I saved Mockingjay till last year. I didn't want the series to end.
ReplyDeleteI collect Hunger Games merchandise. My mom and dad recently got me Catching Fire Peeta Doll and Buttercup Stuffed Animal for my Birthday in September.
I'm a Peeta and Katniss fan. He is so selfless. He loves Katniss so much and will do anything to protect her.
I can't wait to see the Mockingjay Part 2. Thank you for this amazing giveaway.
I'm super pumped for this movie! This series changed my life because it opened my eyes and allowed me to meet so many incredible people online through this fandom. I'll always be grateful!
ReplyDeleteI almost never go to the theaters, but I want to for this one! They have impacted my life by opening me to the world of dystopian books and movies. I prefer Hunger Games over Divergent series.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it.. But I know my daughter is a fan and would love this awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI CANT WAIT for the movie! Hunger Games is one of those books/movies that I used to escape the world around me. Also, I love the characters like I know them personally because I have read and watched them go through everything. They may not be "real" but my love for them is. And even if this is the final movie, Katniss and all the other characters will forever be with me.
ReplyDeleteVery excited for Part 2! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to seeing The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2! The film series is great, and in many ways, it demonstrates what an individual/individuals can accomplish in the real world when they set their minds to it, And against all adversities, troubles, and trials in life, we all can overcome obstacles with self-discipline and perseverance!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for this movie! Definitely one of the best YA series of the last few years :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to watch this movie! The Hunger Games series made me really love reading!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for this finale, the movie's production value was good when Gary headlined the first movie and Francis moved to an even greater level. I'm really excited to see the portrayal of the ending, but also a bit sad to see it end so quickly. This series got me back into reading as I was leaving high school and after learning about the filmmaking process and Nina Jacobson's hand in the film it helped me find my focus and major when I got to college. This book and film series has helped me in more ways than one.
ReplyDeleteSo emotionally wrecked knowing that this huge part of my life is coming to an end...
ReplyDeleteI am beyond excited to see Mockingjay Part 2! It seems like just yesterday I was eagerly anticipating the first movie, waiting for any piece of movie news to sate my appetite. Now flashforward five years later and here we are, just a mere two weeks from the final film. It is incredibly sad to say goodbye as this series means so much to me. The books, the movies, the cast, the fans, every bit. Waiting is the best part and now that chapter is coming to a close. I know I will be rewatching these movies for years and years to come, and I know I will love Mockingjay Part 2, but this is a bittersweet ending. One thing that is for certain is that this story will always hold a special place in my heart. These memories will live on forever.

Now five years have passed and here we are, just a mere two weeks away from the final film. I know I will be rewatching these films for years and years to come, and I know I will love Mockingjay Part 2, but it is a bittersweet ending. ReplyDeleteI read the books and watched the first 3 movies. I like the storyline and the excitement of the movies.
ReplyDeleteI used to work in a bookstore, so to me this series was important because it got teenagers reading again. If the main character Katniss can influence young girls growing up to be fearless leaders, there will hope for this world after all.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that I'll be going alone because no one is free to go with me when it opens.

The series reignited my love for dystopian and introduced me to YA dystopian, which I devour.
ReplyDeleteThe first movie was exciting and I saw it with my son with VIP seating and walked by a long line of people snaking around the theater. I read the ticket and realized I had won a contest for front of the line seats for an Advanced Movie Screening at a lovely restored theater. It was exciting, but I hid my eyes when the bees were swarming in the up the tree scene.
