“Even Bridget Jones’s Diary could take a page from this novel.”—Joan Rivers (on VIRGIN).

Ellie used to be a virgin, but now she’s a woman with sexual experience. Well, some sexual experience. She also has debt, an unpaid magazine internship, and three flatmates who left her with the single room to match her single status.

That’s okay. She doesn’t want a boyfriend anyway—she wants several. And if the sex is exciting enough, her ruthless magazine editor boss can exploit her dating life for a column.

After countless hook-ups, a disastrously fiery encounter with some heat lube, and one orgasm class, Ellie is faced with the sad reality of her sexual ineptitude. But when she starts to witness the emotional wreckage she’s leaving in her wake, Ellie realizes that sex can be hard, and there’s a down side to giving it up too easy.
This is an Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.

Ellie's life is different now that she is 22 year old and who only lost her virginity-kinda recently. She feels like the outcast of her friends because they have more experience in all areas of life. While she sits there listening to their stories but has none of her own to share. Then, one day she decides she is gonna set up online dating profile and change her ways. She plans to have many one night stands as possible, but that doesn't always go as plan and she soon realizes this with bad luck on every first date.

Then, she meets Nick... in real life, but he is staring at his ex and ignoring her! JUST HER LUCK! After she tells him how rude he is being, they finally start to talk, so she finally has her one night stand.... but was it only that? For a one night stand they certainty see each other often and he does sweet things for her every time they are together.

What I enjoyed most about Not That Easy is Ellie is uncomfortable in her body and she is working on trying to be more confidant in her own skin. She has a great set of friends, who tell her she is pretty but sometimes that isn't enough. When Nick comes around he compliments her all the time and calls her gorgeous which is something she is not used to. Nick is good looking and someone who Ellie thought was out of her league but she could see the sincerity in his eyes every time he called her gorgeous. Let's not start about the way he looks at her body! It's like he enjoys what he was seeing, so she starts to feel better about herself. She has been wronged before so she is doing this causal but is it causal for him too?

This book is great! I had lots of sexual LOL moments, very personal talks with close friends, funny moments about pubes, some very horrible first dates that she ditches, and so many other funny things. Ellie is just a young lady who wants to have some of her own sexual adventures.... Which is different and fun to read. Her stories is unique and it made it so much better than anything I've ever read.
