Dirtiest Secret
S.I.N. series #1
Author: J. Kenner
Reading Level: Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Released: April 19th 2016
Review Source: Bantam
Dirtiest Secret is intended for mature audiences.
This was a seriously sexy read. Outside of the kink and taboo, the story behind it is compelling and could have easily stood alone, but together made this one riveting read.
Jane and Dallas have a twisted and haunted past, their childhood was anything but rosy. With divorce, awkward adoptions becoming increasingly problematic as adults, everything ended and started one night, as both Jane and Dallas were kidnapped. What happens in the darkness should stay in the dark, but nightmares rarely ever do, do they?
Now as adults, both have tried coping in vastly different manners to come to terms with their kidnapping in the years since, and neither Jane or Dallas talk much anymore, let alone see each other except for family occasions.
I liken Dallas in some ways as a mixture of Batman-meets-Hugh Hefner, what a wonderfully complex character with some seriously awesome character development, truly the King of Fuck.
This is a good book for anyone who enjoys reading kinky or seemingly overtly sexual novel, as well as enjoying suspense-fiction & romance.
I would easily give this book four stars. I had one heck of a time trying to read this novel between classes on campus, blushing is very noticeable in a classroom of twenty-something year olds. I can say that even through all that, I enjoyed reading this and look forward to future installments of the S.I.N. trilogy.

It was wrong for us to be together, but it was even harder to be apart.
The memory of Dallas Sykes burns inside of me.
Everyone knows him as a notorious playboy, a man for whom women and money are no object. But to me, he’s still the one man I desperately crave—yet the one I can never have.
Dallas knows me better than anyone else. We bear the same scars, the same darkness in our past. I thought I could move on by staying away, but now that we’re drawn together once more, I can’t fight the force of our attraction or the temptation to make him mine.
We’ve tried to maintain control, not letting ourselves give in to desire. And for so long we’ve told ourselves no—but now it’s finally time to say yes.
