If you love Susan Mallery, Kristan Higgins, or Rachel Gibson, don’t miss the start of this captivating small-town romance series! Laurel Falls, Montana, features spectacular mountain scenery—but it takes a rugged cowboy to convince one woman to slow down and enjoy the view.

Rafferty Hamilton doesn’t plan on putting down roots anytime soon. With her divorce final, the hotel heiress has left Manhattan behind to scout new locations for her family’s chain of resorts. Which is why it’s so frustrating to be stranded in Laurel Falls while a good-looking, slow-talking, Stetson-wearing mechanic takes his sweet time with her overheated coupe.

A decorated vet who paid his dues in Afghanistan, Trace Black can fix anything with an engine and get it revving—even Rafferty’s ridiculous sports car. He couldn’t say the same for the knockout driver, who looks like she’s never gripped a gear shaft in her life. Women like Rafferty don’t usually stick around in Laurel Falls, but Trace finds himself showing her everything his hometown has to offer before she cruises on down the road.

As the days pass, Rafferty finds herself charmed by the pace of life and the openhearted warmth of the residents. She’s even tempted to trust again—and it’s all thanks to Trace. He’s not the kind of guy she’s used to falling for, but he just might be the man she needs.

This is an Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.

Trace is a family man. He takes care of his siblings and makes sure everything runs smooth, well as smooth as it can be. He's pretty much a dream. He is the primary caregiver and he works his family business. A loving man and a hard worker. One day he gets a phone call that would change his life.

Rafferty is a business woman, who has her life pretty much mapped out for her by her father. With her divorce and everything that has happened to her, she decides for her next business trip to drive across the country. What will happen when she breaks down outside a small worn down town?

What I enjoyed most about Leaving Yesterday is reading Trace and his family. He is surely a dream. Who wouldn't want a man that's responsible by taking all the responsibilities of his family at such a young age. He always have time for them but no time for himself. So it was a nice touch when  he finally meets a woman who would holds his interests. Also, I love when Rafferty finally finds herself being sidetracked from her plans and going for it what she wants. It was a nice change for her instead of following her fathers ways.

This book is so good! This story has many different point of views, which is nice to get into multiple characters heads to see what they're thinking and feeling. It's a story of loss, family, and about gaining family that doesn't share blood but choose to be family. A love story. A small town where pretty much everyone knows who you are and your business. If you like these type of stories then Leaving Yesterday is your next read.
