BEA is fast approaching and I can't even beginning to tell you how excited we are. Leydy and I (Andy) had our first experience in 2014 and boy was it a great experience. We got to meet so many amazing authors, bloggers, publicist and all around amazing book people. I think that's when you truly think to yourself--
It's an exhausting chaotic mad house that we wouldn't trade for the world. It's so nice to finally be able to get together and actually meet these wonderful people you work so closely with during the year. Putting a face to the name brings us such joy. Expect many hugs!
The other upside is getting to see all of your old blogger friends as well as getting meet all of your new ones! I honestly spend so much time on my Twitter that I think that I talk with with my online friends a lot more than my real life peeps. That's sad but true lol! Hey at least we all get together at least one time a year so technically they count as real life friends too! =P
Back to the point of this post-- I am a planner plain and simple. For my first BEA I did so much research that I'm pretty such I read every tips & tricks post that there ever was lol! In the end I felt like it helped me get in the mindset of what to expect on the show floor as well on what to pack and what not. So in turn this is me helping you guys. This will mainly be a post of links that I've gathered that will consist of what to pack, tips and tricks, things people have learn from going, etc. It will be new and old post. Hope you guys enjoy it and find it helpful!
